Now looking at the passenger side (right) spindle, you can see  the caliper adapter plate painted and mounted.

Part of the kit included two of these bearing adapter sleeves, which have a very snug fit on the spindles. This is as far as they would slide on by hand. ECI recommended using an 1-1/2" steel pipe to drive the sleeves on the rest of the way (using a rag to protect the sleeve from the hard edge of the pipe). You can just see the piece of pipe in the bottom of the picture.

I made sure to clean up the spindle well before driving the sleeve adapter on.

Same view as above, but the sleeve adapter is now in place. You just drive it up against the shoulder on the original spindle.

The kit included new inner and outer bearings for the new rotors. ECI also recommended lightly sanding the adapter sleeve with find emery cloth just enough to allow the bearing to slide on by hand.

Once that was done, I packed all the bearings with new grease, and installed the new grease seals in the back side of the rotors. I also packed some grease in the cavity between the grease seal and the inner bearing race.

I used the original Ford spindle nut (the low profile one) and retaining washer. However I had to shave down the outer diameter of the washers to match the smaller outer wheel bearings used in the ECI kit.

Assembly of the rotors to the Ford spindles is completed. The ECI kits did not include the hub dust caps which I picked up at the local parts house. Owing to the change to the disc brake rotors and smaller outboard bearing, the original Ford dust caps cannot be used.

I set the bearings the usual way. Ran the spindle nut down while hand rotating the rotor, and when it snugged up I backed the nut off just enough for the slot in the nut to line up with the hole in the spindle. Popped the cotter pin in place, tapped the dust cap on, and she's ready to go.
