My 1939 Ford Standard Coupe - The Restoration
I've had numerous parts powder coat painted. This is one of the two hood side panels. They were blasted clean and a nice gloss black coat went on. The final color of the car, of course, will be black.
This is one of the two running boards. Had them powder coated also. They were real solid.....only a bit of surface rust.
I chose to have the grill halves powder coated also. They will have to handle any rocks and pebbles that kick up when I drive the car, so I wanted the extra durability of this type surface covering.
My front springs were also powder coated gloss black.
